Our solid walnut floating headboard is the perfect selection for your home! From modern to contemporary to rustic, our live edge headboard is the perfect way to create warmth and uniqueness in your bedroom. We start with a slab of beautiful black walnut milled in Pennsylvania, and hand sand and finish it with a 0% VOC plant-based finish. You'll love seeing the beautiful dark grain permeate through the wood, showcasing the work mother nature slowly did over time.
Sizing:
The headboard stands around 30" tall, and is made from 1 or 2 pieces of walnut that are between 1-2" thick. The width is 82", and the depth is 2". If you need something taller, or a different size, please reach out to us and we can accommodate. Need a larger size or a different type of wood? Reach out and we'll make one custom for you!

Character:
Each piece is different, and has it's own defects/uniqueness -- your piece can include character elements like wormholes, small cracks (sometimes filled with bow ties), spalting, knotholes, voids, and other unique parts to the headboard. These are completely normal and in no way will affect the piece. If you have specific needs, please reach out to us before shipment as once the piece leaves our workshop, we can't change an item due to unique differences.
Shipping:
We aim to ship this item within 9-10 weeks of the order being placed from our PA workshop. Simply select the headboard, and we'll handmake you a one-of-a-kind piece of art to use as your headboard!
Installation:
This is a floating headboard, and it comes with the hardware on the back to hang it. You simply locate your studs, install the bracket along the wall where the studs are, and then place the headboard onto the bracket. It is recommended to perform the installation with two people.
