Explore our Collection of Live Edge Coffee Tables from Brick Mill Co. Our Live Edge Coffee Tables look right at home even in modern, industrial, rustic, or Scandinavian decor, the perfect addition to any living room.
Showcasing mother nature’s natural design more and more over time, our unique coffee tables are an heirloom piece that will be admired for years to come.
Each of our live edge wood coffee tables is 100% unique and will differ depending on the chosen wood slab. It may include such character elements as small cracks, knotholes, wormholes in spalting, which in no way affects the overall quality of your piece but contributes to its one-of-a-kind nature.
Who is Brick Mill Co.?
Brill Mill Co. is a family-owned business located in Williamsport, PA, on a former 1800s lumber mill. Brick Mill Co. is passionate about creating handcrafted bespoke furniture that can be passed on from our family to yours for years to come. We sell custom live edge coffee tables, desks, sofa tables, and more, as well as craft wood furniture and solid wood tables.
What sets our products apart from others? We carefully oversee our products every step of the way, from the initial slab of unfinished wood all the way down to finishing your heirloom-quality product. As a family business, we create high-quality furniture that can be passed down from generation to generation.
Features, Materials, and Sizing
Each live edge table is handcrafted from scratch, using only the most high-end finishes and legs to consistently ensure the most exceptional quality. Our Live Edge Coffee Tables are custom-made using one of the following locally-sourced base materials:
- Our Live Edge Walnut Coffee Tables are crafted using a characterful slab of black walnut milled in Pennsylvania
- Our meticulously handcrafted Black Gum Coffee Tables use a stunning slab of black gum lumber
- Our Rustic Barnwood Coffee Tables make use of gorgeous, reclaimed lumber recovered from sustainably torn down barns
All of our live edge wood coffee tables are hand sanded and then finished with a 0% VOC or low VOC plant-based finish. We choose these products with the comfort and safety of yourself, your children, and your pets in mind. We then use locally sourced steel, aluminum, and cast iron for the legs/hardware.
Our Live Edge Coffee Tables range from 16-32" wide and 24" up to 72" long. While each furniture piece is roughly 1-1.25" thick, this may vary depending on each unique piece. Looking for a size that we haven’t listed? Contact us to get a quote for a custom size!
How Our Products Are Made
At Brick Mill Co., we strive to support local mills and reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible. Our products are made using mainly locally sourced wood and wood from salvaged and reclaimed trees, with all of our metalwork being made in the USA.
Using both modern technology and our own two hands, our woodworkers oversee the wood through the entire process, including drying using our state-of-the-art vacuum kiln, sanding, and hand staining.
Who Are Live Edge Coffee Tables For?
Wood that has its natural edge left uncut has become increasingly popular in home decor in recent years, bringing a cozy, natural beauty to any space. Live edge furniture is a wonderful contrast to the usual smooth surfaces of the human-created home, adding a sense of rugged yet perfectly finished beauty.
Our Live Edge Coffee Tables are perfect for those looking for a one-of-a-kind showpiece for their living room that is sure to attract plenty of compliments from everyone who sees it. Suiting virtually every type of decor, our Live Edge Coffee tables are also a perfect addition to your office or workspace.
Caring For Your Live Edge Coffee Table
With our finishes protecting your product for many years to come, there is no need to use any harsh chemicals on your Live Edge Coffee Table. Instead, we recommend using a wet cloth to remove any spills or accumulation of dust.
In the case of a particularly stubborn buildup that a wet cloth cannot remove, we recommend using natural soap as well. In addition, keeping your home at a natural humidity level and temperature will help with the longevity of your Live Edge Coffee Table’s life.
Many years in the future, it is possible that you will need to renew the finish of your Live Edge Coffee Table. In this case, we recommend a finishing solution called Renew, which can be applied by simply rubbing it into the table. No sanding or additional work required!
Do you take custom orders?
Don’t see the exact measurements you had in mind for your Live Edge Coffee Table, or would you prefer a different material? Not a problem! Living in the former lumber capital of the world, we have access to many different types of wood that are not listed here. Contact us, so we begin making the Live Edge Coffee Table of your dreams.
When can I expect to receive my Live Edge Coffee Table?
We will work our absolute hardest to get your Live Edge Coffee Table out to you within two to three weeks. This may differ for custom orders or according to the time of year. We will keep our customers updated on any possible delays to their shipment.
Is there any assembly required?
The table legs/hardware of your Live Edge Coffee Table will be shipped separately from your coffee table, so there will be some minimal assembly required. Due to the weight of both the coffee table and the hardware, it is recommended for two people to complete the assembly process. While we include basic assembly instructions, the pre-made rivets should not require more than a basic screwdriver.
