Our products, crafted from real wood, embody timeless charm and natural beauty. However, it's important to note that real wood reacts to its environment. While we take meticulous care in selecting and processing our wood, factors like temperature, sunlight exposure, and humidity fluctuations can lead to natural variations such as warping, cracking, bowing, or splitting. These occurrences are rare, but we believe they contribute to the rustic allure of our pieces. We will work with you to address any issues up to one year of delivery date.
We stand by the quality of our craftsmanship and will address any defects attributable to our workmanship or materials. Simply reach out to us, and we'll guide you through the process. In some cases, we may request photos to assess the situation and determine whether repair or replacement is necessary.
While our warranties cover handmade defects, it's crucial to follow our care instructions to ensure the longevity of your purchase. Remember, wood is prone to natural movement, especially in environments with inconsistent humidity levels, or dry climates. When purchasing a table, we require maintaining consistent humidity (30-40%) with a humidifier, particularly if you reside in drier climates and/or in winter. Proper care not only preserves the integrity of your product but also enhances its lifespan for years to come. We cannot warranty or insure any cracks or wood movement that happens due to inconsistent humidity levels in your home.
Please be mindful that warranties are valid when products are used for their intended purposes and exhibit normal wear and tear. However, if you encounter minor imperfections like dents or scratches, don't hesitate to contact us for guidance on addressing them.
For standard, non-customized pieces, we offer a 30-day return policy for a refund of the purchase price, subject to a 20% restocking fee. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and returned furniture must be in resellable condition. Please obtain a return authorization number before initiating the return process.
Brick Mill does not accept returns of any customized furniture. In addition, once work has begun on a custom piece of furniture, you will be charged for work done, including design time, if you decide to cancel the order prior to shipping.
