Important — Before the Delivery Team Leaves

Inspect Your Furniture

Every Brick Mill piece is carefully inspected and protected before it leaves our shop, and delivery damage is rare. In the uncommon event that something does happen, the delivery paperwork is how we make it right. Your signature confirms that your order was received in good condition, except for any damage written on that paperwork. Damage that is not noted at the time of delivery is not eligible for repair, replacement, or remake.

1

Inspect Every Piece Before Signing

Our team will unpack and place your furniture. Before you sign anything, check every piece: tops, edges, legs, drawers, doors, and hardware. Take the time you need. The delivery team is required to wait until you have fully inspected the furniture and signed off.

2

Write It on the Paperwork

If you notice an issue, describe it specifically on the paperwork, including where it is and what it is (for example, "1-inch dent, front left edge of dining table top"). General notes like "subject to inspection" do not document damage and will not qualify a claim.

3

Photograph It

Before the delivery team leaves, take close-up photos of each issue, plus photos of the full piece and its packaging.

4

Contact Us Within 48 Hours

Keep and accept the furniture unless Brick Mill Furniture has instructed you otherwise. Send your photos and a copy of the signed paperwork to our team within 48 hours of delivery.

If it's not on the paperwork, we are unable to assist. Signing without noting damage confirms your furniture arrived in acceptable condition. Brick Mill Furniture will not repair, replace, or remake furniture for delivery damage that was not documented on the delivery paperwork.
Frequently Asked Questions

White Glove Delivery FAQs

How long does White Glove Delivery take?

After your furniture is completed, White Glove transit and scheduling generally takes approximately 2–4 weeks. Timing varies based on location, carrier routing, and appointment availability.

Is White Glove Delivery included with my order?

White Glove Delivery is available as an optional upgrade for most Brick Mill Furniture orders. Bed frames include White Glove Delivery at no additional charge. Shelves are not eligible for White Glove Delivery and will ship using the applicable standard delivery method.

Can I add White Glove Delivery after ordering?

Yes. Please contact our team within two weeks of placing your order if you would like to upgrade an eligible order to White Glove Delivery.

Does White Glove Delivery include assembly?

Yes. Assembly is included with all White Glove Delivery orders. The delivery team will assemble your furniture as needed as part of the White Glove service.

Will the delivery team move my existing furniture?

Please have the intended delivery area cleared before the team arrives. Moving existing furniture should not be assumed to be included unless specifically confirmed in advance.

How will I know when my furniture is arriving?

Once your furniture is ready and enters the White Glove delivery network, the delivery provider will contact you to coordinate an available delivery appointment.

What should I do if my furniture arrives damaged?

Inspect your furniture while the delivery team is still at your home. Note any visible damage or concerns on the delivery paperwork before signing, take clear photos, and contact Brick Mill Furniture as soon as possible. Unless Brick Mill Furniture has specifically instructed you otherwise, accept and keep the furniture so our team can help determine the appropriate next steps.

How We Resolve Documented Damage?

In the rare instance that damage is properly noted on your delivery paperwork, we will make it right. Brick Mill Furniture determines the appropriate resolution based on the type and extent of the damage. That may be a touch-up kit, an in-home repair by a finishing professional, a replacement part, or, when warranted, a full remake. Most minor damage, such as small scratches, dents, or finish blemishes, can be fully restored and does not require a remake.
