All of our products are built by hand by our team of talented craftsmen located in Williamsport, PA.
Solid Hardwood
We use a variety of locally sourced hardwoods. Primarily Black Walnut, Cherry, Maple, and White Oak. All of our slabs and lumber are kiln dried to prevent wood movement and reduce the risk of warping and cracking.
Commercial Grade Finish
All of our shelves and mantels are finished with a high quality, commercial grade finish that will protect against everyday wear and tear.

I had such high hopes because we have four long floating kitchen shelves we need. So we bought the smallest walnut shelf they offer, as a test. Mechanically its great. The hardware is very beefy. I'm sure it will support a fairly heavy load, certainly more than we'll need. The problem was the shelf. While is appears to be walnut it is only sanded to about 80 grit, and then some sort of oil was rubbed in. It was so rough you could barely see the grain. I'm sure I can salvage it by sanding it through 220 or maybe 400 grit, and then applying my favorite oil or maybe a varnish. So I'll keep it, but I really don't want to go through the same thing with the kitchen shelves. Too bad. Shawn

How We Create It
All of our slabs and lumber are dried through a standardized kiln process. This ensures an even level of moisture throughout the wood that is standard for furniture manufacturing. Once dried, we use both a professional belt sander and a fine hand sander to make a beautiful flat surface for your piece. During the final stage, we apply a high quality conversion varnish finish that is durable and made to last. Our hand finishes ensure an even distribution and smooth surface.

We pre-drill any necessary holes for assembly and source strong and durable industrial hardware, all included with your purchase.
